Dr. Leha Do
Dr. Leha Do was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. She attended the University of Calgary where she majored in Biological Sciences before moving to Chicago, Illinois where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry.
While on externship rotations, she worked in both public and private sector primary eye care. While working at the Jesse Brown Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Dr. Do provided treatment and management of various ocular disease cases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and optic atrophy. She gained experience working in pediatrics at another rotation with Chicago Public Schools where she provided eye care and vision therapy for students of low-income families. During her rotation at a private practice in Chicago, she fit various contact lenses ranging from multifocal soft contacts, specialty scleral lenses, ortho-k and hybrid lenses.
In her spare time, Dr. Do enjoys going for bike rides, baking, dining, and taking her puppy, named Peanut, on walks.
